Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife
Participation in an ATV education course will teach
how to properly operate and maintain an ATV. Laws,
responsibilities and personal safety will also be
covered. NOTE: Any student under the age of 10 MUST
be accompanied by a parent of guardian. Passage of
a final exam is required.
Total Course = 6 hours
- Proper Operation and Safety (Riding Skill-Equipment-Maintenance) = 2 Hours
- Laws = 1/2 Hour
- Emergencies & Survival = 40 Minutes
- Map & Compass = 1 Hour
- Self Help First Aid = 20 Minutes
- Environmental/Landowner/Ethics = 1 1/2 Hours
The location of the course is 99 Austin Rd. Mechanic Falls, Maine. (Building on the right) Time 9AM-4PM.
If you register for the class and then find you cannot attend, PLEASE notify us so another person may attend in your place.

Stacey. Please try again and if you don’t see the registration link…call (207) 329-0863 and register your youngsters manually with the club. 30 participants were allowed however the registration link stopped at 27. I believe I have it fixed .
